About the Presenters


Mayor Sean Terry, City of Celina

Mayor Sean Terry has been Mayor of Celina for five years. He started serving on the City Council in 2008. While serving on the City Council he has attended numerous workshops such as a strategic planning, budget and Core Values workshop. He also serves on the Meals on Wheels Board and is a member of the North Texas Mayors Association. Mayor Terry is a graduate from Texas A&M University.


Mayor Nate Pike, City of Anna

Mayor Nate Pike is a Financial Advisor with the Utter Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisor. He was elected Mayor of Anna, Texas in November 2017. He also serves as President of Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center board and as a Board Member of the North Texas Young Professionals. In 2018, Mayor Pike was recognized by the Texoma Marketing and Media Group as a Top 40 under Forty Business Professionals in Grayson County.


Mayor Reed Greer, City of Melissa

Reed Greer has been the Mayor of the City of Melissa since May 2009. Reed is an entrepreneur

with several businesses to his credit and is an active volunteer for various community service

organizations including Melissa Youth Sports Association, Melissa Booster Club, Melissa Fire

Department to name a few. Reed has a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, Film, and Television from

the University of Texas – Austin.

sector, Mr. Maso supports Ryan clients to improve profitability through business growth and

development.


J. Martin Sanchez, MUP, AICP, President and Chief Executive Officer,

Sanchez & Associates, LLC

Martin has worked in numerous cities and agencies around the state including: Plano, McKinney, Weston, Frisco, Mesquite, McLendon Chisholm, El Paso, Lancaster, Brownsville and Carrollton to list a few. His experience is wide and diverse with a focus on municipal planning and land development. He has been recognized as a leader in planning and land development by receiving a number of awards and recognitions. Some of the awards include: Outstanding Project of the Year, Development Project of the Year - Craig Ranch, Texas Community of the Year and Planning Excellence Recognitions just to name a few.


Rick Chaffin, MUA, Director of Municipal Services, Sanchez & Associates, LLC

Rick is an executive-level leader who is caring, creative, professional and results-oriented.   He has served as a city manager and deputy city manager in small towns to larger suburban cities that spans a 25 year career.   He has managed all facets of city government. His areas of expertise  are organizational development, operations management, capital improvement projects, financial management, strategic planning, leadership and community relations.
